Vaginal Davis is an originator of the homo-core punk movement and a gender-queer art icon. Set apart from gallery-centered art, and Hollywood movies, and from those systems' necessities of high-polish, low-substance production, Ms. Davis's performance, experimental film and video practice has critiqued exclusionary conceits from the outside
José Esteban Muñoz is an American theorist in the fields of Performance Studies, visual culture, queer theory, cultural studies, and critical theory. His book Disidentifications: Queers of Color and the Performance of Politics (1999) is a foundational text in queer of color critique, and a major contribution to minority scholarship in the field of Performance Studies.
Leila P. is a founding member of the BOOKMOBILE project and an independent curator of several collective exhibitions. She has been an active member of the Montreal art and activist communities for the past decade. Leila holds an M.A. in Media Studies and is currently the coordinator of QPIRG McGill.
