Les Fermières Obsédées are releasing their brand new monograph accompanied by a DVD, all of which are published by Les Éditions d’art Le Sabord. 
 

In this book named « Les Fermières Obsédées », 5 authors recount the activities of this noticeable collective in the contemporary art scene of Quebec, Canada and abroad.

Les Fermières Obsédées (F.O.) is a collective orchestrated by founding members Annie Baillargeon and Eugénie Cliche, both visual and media artists. Since 2001, they bring an "indiscipline" to the genre of action art with their performances where symbolic and metaphoric images are linked. They have developed a visual language, combining the tragic and comic, proposing performances where several disciplines meet. 

This project was born from a common desire to transpose into actions, questions of social order and intimacy. A short performance will start off the night !
