DIANE QUACKENBUSH

Painting, lithography and drawing

Exhibition: 25 January-14 February 1976

The exhibition is comprised of paintings on paper and canvas in addition to several lithographs and drawings. Recurring throughout the work is the use of a decorative patterning as a significant textural element. Motifs within the patterns while handled systematically are subject to intuitive variation and human error. Both content and process are strongly influenced by printing generally and lithography in particular.
