La Centrale is seeking new members for our programming committee!
We are actively seeking members of the Montréal arts community who support La Centrale’s intersectional feminist mandate and want to contribute to the creation of the centre’s artistic programming.
About La Centrale
La Centrale is an artist-run centre dedicated to the dissemination and development of multidisciplinary feminist practices. We are committed to supporting artists at various stages of their careers who are underrepresented in dominant cultural establishments. Our programming dialogues with feminisms and supports intersectionality.
About the programming committee
Working closely with the General Co-director & Programming, the programming committee supports the selection of the centre's artistic programming. La Centrale’s annual programming includes: exhibition projects (in-gallery and window exhibitions) and performance projects. Through a jury process, the programming committee ensures the selection of artistic programming that is linked to La Centrale's mandate. The members meet between two to three times a year to review calls for applications and jury. The committee is divided into sub-groups according to the proposed projects (e.g. exhibition, window and performance projects).
Eligibility
In order to be considered eligible for the programming committee, candidates must be members of La Centrale. For more information on membership and how to become a member, click here.
