Once again this summer, La Centrale infiltrates the Main Madness promoting alternative commerce with its BOOM BAZAAR. Artists and artisans will be selling a variety works and hand-crafted objects. Also, a few surprises and we are proud to present one night of musical performances!
So come celebrate with us under the sun while supporting local talent!

Mexican-born textile designer with a graphic desing and fine art background, she will be selling various objects crafted of textile and paper : greeting cards, magnets, necklaces, small brooches, art dolls, etc.
Christine Barbeau
Trained as a silversmith jeweler, she selected for you articles among her expressive and intemporal sterling silver creations : fantasy rings, bracelets and pendents.
Jacqueline Bassett
Self described artisan with various projects, she grows and presses real flowers and uses them in small scale works of mixed media (prints from old book pages, maps and music sheets) collage.
Nathalie Quagliotto
Montreal-born artist who received a BFA in Studio Arts and an MFA in Sculpture, she will be selling her Yellow Puzzles boxed in 3’’x 3’’x 3’’ clear plastic as well as doubled yellow lollipops.
Anaïs Ronceray
In the realm of the printed arts, she has selected various works from her artistique practice and will be offering you : engraved wood, engravings, ink drawings, watercolours, etc.
Gabrielle Thibeaudeau
Dedicated to her love for the fine craft of traditional Batik (Organic dyes), she will be selling all hand made shibori (tie dye) indigo and other colored shirts and scarves.
Claudia Tremblay
Paintor and social worker, she will propose to you her works, set in Montréal, depicting moments where women are lost in their thoughts.
Karine Turcot
Multidisciplinary artist who studied photography and received a Master of Arts, she will be selling artist books and engravings of different formats.
Celia Vara
Spanish-born artist educated in Psychology, Gender Studies and Women’s History, she will have for sale her monotypes, photo etchings, collagraphies, as well as digital images.
Geneviève Wallen
Passionate about fashion and a student of Art History, she will be selling her neclaces, ear rings, rings, broches and hair accessories.
Vanessa Yanow
Montreal-based glass and textile designer/artist, she will be selling her jewelry creations akin to miniature sculptures or wearable art, made with a focus on detail and a deep interest in form.
