Together with the exhibition Creation of an Ethereal World by Esther Calixte-Bea, curated by Cécilia Bracmort, La Centrale is proud to present an artist talk between Esther Calixte-Bea and Cécilia Bracmort on Friday September 24 at 6pm.

During this conversation, the artist and curator will discuss the shackles of beauty standards, particularly with regard to gender and race, and how they relate to Esther Calixte-Bea’s practice, artistic background, and activism.

The conversation will take place at La Centrale on Friday September 24 at 6pm. A recording of the conversation will be available on La Centrale’s website. A reservation is required to attend the talk at the gallery, to reserve a place click here or write to communication@lacentrale.org.

The conversation will take place in English but questions may also be asked in French.

Creation of an Ethereal World is on from September 23 to October 28 at La Centrale, 4296 boulevard Saint-Laurent. It is possible to reserve a one-hour time slot here, or, to visit the exhibition without an appointment during the gallery’s opening hours.
