ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
This annual meeting is an opportunity to meet the new co-director team, to learn more about the past year’s programming and what we’re planning next. The General Assembly is also where members can run for an open seat on our Board of Directors and the programming committee.
As La Centrale approaches its 50th anniversary (2024), we are reflecting both on the centre’s past and its future. It is more important than ever that our community joins us as we (re)imagine what a feminist arts organization can look like both from the inside and the outside. We look forward to welcoming our members (old, new, and curious) to our gallery space to share in these discussions. Plenty of snacks and refreshments will be provided!
The Annual General Assembly is open to the public, however only members of La Centrale have the privilege of voting and running for a position on the Board of Directors and programming committee. Our members are part of an active community and provide vital support to our mission. La Centrale’s members can be involved in the operations of the centre through committees as well as participate in the annual members programming.
The AGA will include:
—Recap of the 2022-23 programming and finances
—Presentation of the 2023-24 programming and budget
—Board of Director elections
—Programming Committee elections
